I want you to remember that. Everything that we’re working towards is going to leave you feeling happier and healthier. Feel grateful for your present self and everything that you are.
But recognise that there are always things that you can do to achieve your ideal.
Now, I’m going to talk about one of the biggest killers out there.
This is the thing that’s going to stop you from taking a step forward today. And if you let it take over, you’ll never achieve the transformation that you want in life.
Who’s ever had this thought – "I can leave it until tomorrow."
That’s right folks. Procrastination is one of the biggest enemies of progress.
It’s stopping you from taking ownership of your life as it is right now. Whatever addictions you have, whatever changes you want to make, it doesn’t matter.
If you procrastinate today, you’re opening yourself up to a trap.
What on Earth am I talking about, right? You probably joined because you want to lose some weight.
Don’t leave me in the dust just yet.
The Jowett Method is about transformation. It’s about making the changes that help you to become your higher and better self.
And it runs through every area of your life.
Making those changes gives you the platform to be better. To be your ideal self.
Weight loss is a by-product of that transformation. The real deal is that you learn how to live in the present and be happier in yourself and who you are.

And before I get into this, I want to let any Steves know that I’m not taking shots at them. This Steve is just the name that I give to one type of person.
That person’s the naysayer.
It’s the guy who’s always in your ear. He’s trying to pull you away from the journey you’re on. Maybe he doesn’t want to see you make a positive transformation in your life. Maybe he’s not committing to change and he wants to drag you down with him.
Or your Steve might just feel jealous about what you’ve achieved and wants to knock you down a peg.
It’s your Steve that’s going to tell you to eat that extra slice of cake that you don’t really want. Steve’s going to keep telling you to eat more, drink more, and consume more.
Meanwhile, Steve hasn’t even seen his own feet in years. Steve is the exact person that you don’t want to become.
And here’s the thing.
And you have to remember that addiction takes so many forms. For me, it was the bottle. For you, it could be the food, the drugs, the smoke, the punt.
It feels so good to be free of all of that so that you can live the life you want to lead.
Living in the present moment and feeling happier in yourself is what The Jowett Method is all about. Weight loss is just a by-product.
People join to lose weight. But you find out that there’s so much more to it than that.

And that’s what I want to talk about with you for a moment.
Today might bring a backward step. Maybe you fall off the wagon a little bit and you eat too much or you drink too much.
And those are the most dangerous days.
Those are the days where we start asking ourselves if there’s any point to all of the work that we’re doing.
Those are the days when we quit.
Now, I want you to change your thinking about the backward steps.
It’s the backward step that presents us with the capacity to learn. It’s the backward step that throws what we want to change in our lives into focus.
We should actually feel grateful for the backward steps. Without them, we’re not going to learn, which means we’re not going to keep moving forward.
It’s the bad days that give us something to bounce back from.
Here’s what I want you to remember.
Who are you behind closed doors when nobody is watching? That is the question and where success lives.
If you are only your best self in front of others you will never reach the heights you deserve.
Who are you when no-one is watching? Where do your standards sit then?
You always play to an audience of one.
Change your story. Change your life.
