So many of us go through life as victims, blaming everyone else and feeling hardly done by. Nothing good comes of this.
We must look for the lessons, learning, gifts in the struggle, not merely hope for better days. You attract what you are not what you want. "When you change the way you look at things the things you look at change". Wayne Dyer.
You need to be able to get to a place where you can be grateful for all the mess and genuinely feel that right now, It's perfect, because it is.
When you can sit content with where you are, you will begin to achieve more. Don't just be grateful when it's good.
Change the lens. Look for the gifts. Everything serves. X #weightloss #inspiration #motivation
Think back to the big blunders.
Where did they come from? Ego, which stems from fear.
If we come from a place of gratitude and love think about how differently we would act and respond, serve and preserve. How patient would we become? Wow xx Step 1 is always awareness. If you're still running around blaming others for the mess, I'm sorry to inform you, you're in ego.
Trust me, I was the mayor of ego town. Terrible joint. #weightloss#inspiration #motivation
I’ve got an addictive personality.
A little never feels like enough for me. In fact, enough never feels like enough.
I always want to have that little bit more of everything.
I call it the “disease of more” and it stopped me from ever feeling truly fulfilled in my life. After all, how can I achieve fulfilment if I’m always looking for more?
I found myself in that position because I hadn’t done the deep work on myself. I thought always wanting more was the mindset that I needed, especially in business.
Here’s an example of what this mindset does to you.
At 22, I founded Vision Personal Training. And that business skyrocketed. It was really pumping and things were going well. The business ended up with a ton of franchises everywhere and I seemed to have everything I wanted.
But I got bored of that in about 5 years. I wasn’t happy with what I achieved. I just wanted whatever came next.
Next, next, next.
My life became all about...
We have to let stuff go.
Most of us hang onto events, failures, pain and it anchors us like mooring lines to the dock.
We cannot reach the heights we deserve hanging onto the past. I coach "love, gratitude, focus on the good, look for the lesson, what did I learn". These are terrific prompts to shift focus and change the lens. As young men and women we were full of dreams, hopes, aspirations to change the world. THAT'S STILL INSIDE YOU. we just need to let go of the baggage and fear. P.s. Everyone does this.
That's why as we age more we dream less. It doesn't need to be this way.
Write a forgiveness letter to yourself and those who hurt you then burn it, move on. IT'S TIME #weightloss #inspiration #motivation
Had the pleasure and absolute privilege of interviewing Australian bodybuilding sensation @justin.wessels and Gen Tec CEO @nickjonesworldchampion today about their preparations for the upcoming Arnold Classic. These 2 blokes epitomize class, humility, perseverance and what it takes to win. You will be able to see their journey in the upcoming documentary INSPIRE.
Justin tragically lost his father a few weeks ago to cancer. We are all thinking of you mate. But like a true champion he is again now focused on the job at hand, his pro debut in the Arnold Classic.
Life is very hard at times. Chatting to Justin today showed me the heart of a remarkable human being, a man who pursues his goals for the right reasons. We can all learn so much from these 2 gentlemen. Do yourself a favor, watch this documentary when it's released. Whether you're a bodybuilder, athlete, or someone who simply wants to be inspired to be their best, this is for...
There's a difference. We have to fail lots to win and grow but tragically most people quit right before the breakthrough. They simply don't want to fail anymore.
This is so common with Weightloss.
People decide to quietly become a spectator not a participant in life.
We must raise awareness that success is carved out of failure. It is the very building block.
Fail. Getup. Learn. Grow. Change.
This is the path. The model. So many are paralysed by the fear of failure when in reality it is the catalyst for greatness. JUST DON'T QUIT.
If you can truly appreciate the important of failing often, you can achieve your wildest dreams and more.

What an awesome reminder. Thus, I think golf is forever teaching me patience. but seriously, all of my failures in life can be attested to a lack of patience and an oversupply of ego.
BEWARE OF IMPATIENCE AND EGO. They can manifest in so many areas of life. You might have them under control in business but what about in the home.? Or even hobbies?
Impatience. Entitlement. Ego. Are the big 3 traps. Keep a watchful eye. #inspiration #motivation #life
The problem with ego...
When you are in it you can't see it
Take it from me, if you're running around blaming everyone else for the mess, you're in ego.
Ego is so deceptive. Big ego robs you of clear vision and a grasp on reality. Only down the path does it become clear.
Try to use these markers as compass bearings
Awareness. Ownership. Humility
And avoid these like plague
Impatience. Ego. Entitlement

That brings me to Paul.
Paul has been a personal trainer for his entire life and runs a super successful fitness business. If there’s one person who should know how to keep the weight off, it’s him.
But as he got a little bit older, he started putting on a little weight.
He says that ego got in the way when it came to making the changes he needed to make. He figured that the extra weight was par for the course for anyone who’s in their sixties. He used to look in the mirror and think that 88.5 kilograms was pretty good.
But it wasn’t, especially for the industry that he’s in.
Worse yet, Paul has osteoarthritis. This means that...
We can all come up with reasons why now is not the perfect time. We can all justify our inertia. If we put as much time into finding solutions and resources as we did excuses, imagine the result.
Now is the only time and you know what you've been putting off through fear of failure, rejection and opinion.
This must stop. Make today the day.
