The other night, I found myself looking at Facebook. And I saw a friend of mine named Jo, who’s in real estate.
We met last year down in Ulladulla when I spoke at her company’s real estate awards.
Unfortunately, things aren’t going as well for Jo as they could be.
Jo’s mad into horses. She has three on this little ranch at her home and her daughter’s a show jumping champion.
Now, I hadn’t seen anything of Jo on Facebook for a few weeks. But the other night, I saw her post about how the last few weeks have been some of the hardest of her life.
As it turns out, lightning had struck at her property. Unfortunately, the lightning strike killed two of her horses.
Now I know they’re not human beings. But they’re animals. They’re living beings that we welcome into our lives and love. They’re part of the family and it’s an absolute tragedy when something so horrible happens to such pure beings.

Mindset coaching for success community
Thank you so much for the kind words below, John McGrath and Kieran Bresnahan.
I believe there is a success blueprint, formula, ratios and a methodology, that can be taught and applied for everyone.
And through my own struggles, failures and pain I have been able to unlock and share something that is working for a lot of people, namely The Jowett Method.
I'm no guru or sage, rather just a bloke that made a ton of mistakes but was blessed enough to come out the other side, grateful and awake, better for the cracks and breaks.
John says... "Shifting mindset is the key to success.
The information has all been out there for years yet still people fail to live anywhere near their potential.

I want to talk to you a little about the logic behind TJM.
Here’s how I see it.
Every single human being on this planet is a little bit broken.
We’re all a little bit scared. Everyone’s got some pain and some baggage that they’re lugging around with them. If someone doesn’t have that then they’re a sociopath, right?
We all think that we’re not enough.
That’s the big reveal.
The mistake we make is that we wander around thinking that it’s only us. Everybody else seems to have their stuff together. Why don’t we?
The truth is that going under the surface on anyone in your life will reveal their pain and baggage. They’re just like you. They may have different struggles and pain.
But they’re a little bit broken too.
Embrace that fact. Recognise that it’s not just you. As soon as you recognise this single fact in life, you’re ready to start moving on and confronting your pain.
What are your success markers and what defines your identity?
Important questions to be able to answer to get greater insights into who and where you are.
We can't change what we can't see. Awareness is step 1 #realestate #inspiration #motivation
Sooner or later life breaks all of us but some become stronger in the broken places. (Hemingway). Your pain can be your greatest gift of you can take the lessons and see the truth.
And the truth is that we are always the problem and always the solution, nobody else. Look for the gift. The growth. You won't see it while ever in ego
Long-time TJM members know that I’ll give out a little tough love every now and again.
Here’s how TJM works.
Always come from a place of love for yourself and others. Everything that you do needs to come from a place of love.
Love not fear. That’s a critical part of what we do. It’s your base.
Without it, we’re shot ducks. We’ve had our wings clipped and we’re not going anywhere.
But whilst coming from that place of love, you have to be firm with yourself and other people.
You have to use a little bit of tough love every now and again to get to where you need to be.
Without that tough love, we start procrastinating. We start feeling a little bit too content with where we are, which means nothing gets done. We start finding the reasons not to do things.
You’ve got to use different approaches at different times to get the results that you need.
If you’re in the zone right now and everything’s going well, then...
Be defined by the person that you are not the stuff that you have. There are ways to live and there are ways to not. Here is some of the blueprint (in my humble opinion)
Tips here on leadership and how to avoid the "disease of MORE" and "happiness is when" myth, that so many are currently suffering. #realestate #inspiration #motivation
It's a sad fact that for most people as their income goes up their happiness goes down.
Yes there are episodes of excitement, fun, but a deeper feeling of peace, joy, happiness rarely exists.
How can this be?
Surely the wealth creates freedom and safety?? Not if it's motivated by fear.
Because the more you have the more you fear you'll lose. That's the tragic paradox and trap so many find themselves in (myself included for many years). Which begs the question, do we ever truly own anything other than the present moment we have now? I dare say not.
