Do you suffer from Excuseitis?
"What is that?" I hear you ask! Don’t head onto Google to find out. It’s not going to tell you. But I can bet you’ve caught it before. Maybe you even have it right now.
Excuseitis is going to get in the way of your goal. It’s a barrier that you need to smash through.
And I reckon about 80% of people either have it or are at risk of catching it.
So, what is it?
It’s allowing excuses to stop you from taking the massive action that you know will change your life.
It can even stop you from taking the small actions that might give you some minor benefits.
"I don’t want to go for a walk today because it’s cold outside."
That’s an excuse.
"I just got bit by a mosquito and I don’t feel like doing anything."
How’s that Excuseitis treating you there?
Change isn’t easy. It’s a long, hard journey that you’ve got to commit to. And most people are going to find excuses. They’re going to find those little things that they can hide behind as the reason why they’re not making changes.
But here’s the reality.
You have an opportunity right now to ditch the excuses.
You can stop hiding behind the bull. There’s always a reason why now isn’t the time.
And it’s never a good reason. It’s always an excuse.
And therein lies the secret to weight loss and all great transformations. You’ve got to find your reason why. You’ve got to know why you want to make the change before you can really commit to it.
Because if you don’t have a reason why it’s all too easy to think of reasons why not.
You’re not always going to see immediate growth or progress. Often, you’re making those little changes that you can’t even see.
But they’re making a huge difference.
Diagnose yourself today. Do you have Excuseitis?
If you do, you’ve taken an important first step. You’ve recognised the symptoms.
Now you just have to apply the cure – find your reason why.
I believe in you.
