Getting Past the Fear-Based Society

Uncategorized Feb 10, 2019
G'day,

What’s stopping you from doing what you’ve always dreamed of doing?

I know what it was for me. And I bet it’s the same for you.

It’s fear.

Of course, it is. We live in a fear-based society that’s always bombarding us with negative messages. There are people constantly telling you that you can’t do this or you can’t do that.

You start thinking that all of this bull is actually true.

And it gets so bad that the fear stops you from chasing what you really want out of life.

You’re so scared of failing that you never even tried in the first place.

I want you to do something with me right now.

We’re going to focus on overcoming that fear that society instils in us.

Think back to when you were a young man or a young woman. Maybe you’re still young right now, so this should be even easier for you.

Now, think about the biggest dream that you had back then. This is the one thing that burned brightest deep down inside you. It’s the thing that you wanted to do more than anything else.

But you didn’t because society told you that you couldn’t. That fear that’s all around us stopped you from chasing the dream.

These dreams are unique to you. They are what you truly are, through and through.

Now, I want you to think what you could do if fear wasn’t a factor. If all of the negative bull that society sends our way didn’t exist, where would you be?

At the very least, you’d have chased that dream.

Now you might have fallen down. And that’s okay.

That’s another thing that society doesn’t tell us. We learn that failing is bad and it’s something to fear.

It’s not. Falling down is just an opportunity to learn and get back up again. And it’s from falling that we learn the deepest lessons of all.

That’s what separates the successful from the fearful.

Think about the dream that you had way back when and grab onto it.

Then, go out on a limb and try something that scares you.

I believe in you.

Love,

Geoff xx"
