Choose to get good at what you do.

Choose to get good at life. If what you're doing is not working, change. Seek the truth, find the answers.

Weightloss, work, life, relationships. You can have an incredible life if you change the lens. You have to dump the old story. "I've always been fat, I've never had money, never found true love, work is hard".

These are stories and past content in your life, not your present moment reality.

The hard work is believing that's it possible for you to be great. Forgive yourself for past mistakes, apologise where needed. Move forward.

And most of all don't see the present moment as a means to an end. It is NOT. The working unit of your life is NOW not when. "When is a fictitious mind based narrative", it is not reality. Come back to reality (NOW) AND PRACTICE intense presence here now. Be playful with now. No agenda. Just do your very best with what's in front of you today.

This is the key to high performance as a happier time on earth.

I Know It’s a Cliché But…

G’day ,

You have to be the best that you can be to lead a happy and sustainable life.

I know, it’s a cliché. You could hear that exact same thing from every self-help guru in the world.

But just because it’s a cliché doesn’t make it any less true.

I’m living proof of that. In fact, I’m only here today because of that cliché.

I’m someone who has the “disease of more”. In my younger days, that meant I was always looking for the next big thing. I never appreciated what I had because it wasn’t enough.

Now on the outside, I may have looked like a success.

I’d built companies. Several of them. And a few of them managed to get really big. People all over the nation knew my name and knew about the companies I built.

Think About Your Values so You Can Get Your Mindset Right

We’re just starting to dig into 2019, so it’s the perfect time to sit back and think for a minute.

Here’s a question for you.

What are your values?

I want you to think about that right now. Think about who you are and whether your values align with the way that you’re living your life.

Here’s the secret.

Most of us aren’t aligned with our values. So right now, I want you to think about what you want to achieve in 2019. Yes, the present moment is always what’s important. But you’ve got an opportunity to wipe the slate clean here.

Forget about what’s happened in the past and start thinking about what your values are right now. Write them down so they’re always in front of you.

This is an awesome anchor.

If you have clearly defined values, it’s a lot easier to stay the course when you’re trying to lose weight.

How Alicia Grabbed Life by the Horns (Instead of Waiting for Things to Get Better)

I always tell my clients one thing.

You can’t wait for life to get better.

 Life will always have complications.

 It’s always going to throw up hurdles and barriers that could stop you from achieving success in any goal you have.

So you can’t wait.

You have to learn to be happy right now. Otherwise, you just run out of time.

 TJM tribe member Alicia found herself struggling to find her happiness. She says she had an addiction to sugar that was taking over her life. Combine that with coffee and you have a lethal cocktail.

 Alicia was also taking various prescription medications for anxiety that she wanted to kick. Now, I don’t recommend people to automatically come off their medication when they start The Jowett Method. That’s something for you and your doctor to work out. But Alicia wanted to get away from them and she had the green light to try.
